You should first check your fuse panel and see if any of the fuses are out. Also it may be a loose cable going into your transmission.. this would require dealer or auto repair person.
most likely is your vehicle speed sensor is bad and needs replacing very easy to replace the sensor has a gear in the tip if its bad you will also experience erratic shifting some times and the od light will blink
