No fuse but large 80 AMp in plastic holder on lefthandside of bulkhead underneath the rainsplash next to wiper motor. Wiring loom comes out of car bulkhead above accelerator pedal and part goes through this plastic box 7"x1.5" x2" Fuse is inside. But I think everything would stop if this was blown not sure though, more likely to be small broken wire to starter solenoid, might be the plug that connects this wire from the solenoid to the wiring loom. goes along the back of the engine to the RHS of the engine and is one of two plugs clipped to the engine block above the gearbox May have come undone/ poor connection?
under the bonet
its located above the starter motor.
the starter motor is at the back of the engine to make life easy allso remove the alternator trust me this helps
if engine will not turn over, check fuses first. then check battery, starter motor, starter motor solenoid and ignition switch
Under the bonnet
No you must have a starter from the same model and motor size. I think starters are very motor specific. Hope this helps.
is therea fuse for the vauxhall corsa internal blower motor
check the crank shaft sensor under the engine near the starter motor.
The solenoid on this model is part of the starter motor, mounted directly on top of it.
i dont mean to be rude mate but if your asking if a car has a starter motor take it to a mechenic
You need to check for power to the starter soleonoid when the key is turned If you have power to the small terminal and the starter is not turning then you quite possibly have a bad earth to the engine/gearbox.
if the starter is TRYING to start the engine check to see if your getting fuel. if it doesn't then check battery connections, starter, fuses. if no fuel check fuses, pump, and filter. if it is simply not firing check plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and plug wires. HOWEVER if it ISN'T turning over, but the starter is turning the motor then check the TIMING BELT.
