The alien and sedition acts caused further tension between the two political parties as the acts were targeted particulary at the Republicans and since the Republicans felt that it violates the constitution, it made them angrier.

Generally, the higher the concentrations the faster the reaction. It does not push the reaction further past the equilibrium.

When acid rain falls on limestone it reacts and dissolves the limestone and changes it to a new subsTANCE?

Indeed it does. The reaction is between an acid (mostly Sulphuric, I believe) and also the limestone (Calcium Carbonate). This becomes chemistry when further developed: CaCO3 + H2SO4 --> CaSO4 + CO2 + H2O Calcium Carbonate + Sulphuric Acid --> Calcium Sulphate + Carbon Dioxide + Water The reaction is a neutralisation reaction between an acid and a base, here a carbonate.

What are the two names of the two reactants?

Reactants are the starting components in a chemical reaction. Since you did not mention what chemical reaction you are referring to, there can be no further detail on the question.

What causes baking soda and vinegar react?

If you add more baking soda to a vinegar (acetic acid) and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) mix there will only be a further reaction if there is more acetic acid available to react with the baking soda. If the acid was used up by the first amount of baking soda no further reaction can occur.

What is another name for reactants?

Reactants are the starting components in a chemical reaction. Since you did not mention what chemical reaction you are referring to, there can be no further detail on the question.

How did the supreme court justify the restrictions of the sedition act?

In 1918, Congress limited freedom of speech even further with the passage of the Sedition Act. The act made it unlawful to use "disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language" about the American form of government, the Constitution, or the military forced. The government employed the Sedition Act to prosecute socialists, political radicals, and pacifists. Eugene V. Debs, the leader of the Socialist Party in America, was imprisoned under the act. For this crime - giving a mildly antiwar speech to a convention of socialists in Canton, Ohio - he was sentenced to a 10-year term in a federal prison. The Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the Sedition Act in the ease of Shenckv. United States (1919). The Court ruled that there are times when the need for public order is so pressing that First Amendment protections of speech do not apply. The Debs case and others like it show that the war did lead to some suppression of personal freedoms and individual rights.

Name the element when uranium captures a fast neutron?

The element is determined by the number of protons. When uranium captures a fast neutron it is still uranium but has an increased atomic mass. Fast neutron capture may encourage a further reaction but it depends on which uranium isotope you start with as to the increase in probability some further reaction will occur and which reaction that might be.
