one of two things, BAD EARTH, or Relay switch.
they dont make any.... the only kind you can get are the stock S4 or S5 style tail-lights
i dont know exactly.
If the headlights are on and brake lights work but not the tail lights, it is possible there is a short in the electrical wires. Another cause for this could be that the tail light bulbs are burned out. Most vehicles have more than one bulb inside the tail lights to control different lights at the same time.
Brake lights and turn signals are on a separate circuit from the tail lights. Tail lights are on the same circuit with the dashboard lights. If the dashboard lights aren't working either, check the fuse. If they ARE working, check the headlight switch.
on my 99 aurora the lights are auto i dont touch them and the tail light stay on to
Tail lights in automobiles are in use for the simple reason that cars behind you can see you at a glance. A car without tail lights can easily be camouflaged, in the right environment. Tail lights ensure that this does not happen, especially when a car is braking. and so me nor any of my brothers in arms dont pull you over that is always a easy way to meet quota
Start with new fuses...
Usually a fuse. when the fuse blows the dash lights AND tail lights dont work. If your tail lights work and dash lights dont, check bulbs, if all blown at once you may have a shorting problem. If bulbs are good you may have a bad connection. Tracing wires is a big job. Get yourself a good quality test light.
believe it or not you may haveblown fuse check them.
my headlights work but my taillights and dash light dont work whats wrong
