The by-the-book way (at a shop): Drop the exhaust.

Drop the rear-end.

Drop the tank.

Access from the top of the tank and remove, replace, reverse.

$600-800 (parts and labor)

The do-it-yourselfer way (in your driveway): Pull back the rear liner.

Cut a big hole with a cutting tool.

Access from the top of the tank and remove and replace.

Screw a piece of sheet metal over the hole.
