It will reset itself if you corrected the problem that cause it to come on in the first place. If it does not go out after a few driving cycles, I suggest you stop throwing parts at the problem and take it to a professional for diagnosis and repair.

It means that your relay is out, and has to be replaced with a new one, and once its been replaced, your check engine light will turn off in about 20 minutes or so.
