I recommend Oblivion or Skyrim for a softer gaming experience since they're the newest games. Morrowind, the third game, is pretty hardcore, but it represents a lot of early and old game mechanics that aren't present in the latest Elder Scrolls games. Morrowind is a lot more difficult than Oblivion and Skyrim, and some old Elder Scrolls players argue that the latest games have been "dumbed down". The first two games are difficult to find and start up/install, so I wouldn't recommend playing them first.
No. There is no special version of Morrowind for use with Windows Vista. It might be possible to download a patch from one of the various fan sites, so you might consider checking those. A good place to start would be the Elder Scrolls official fan site. It is generally held that Windows Vista is not a good platform for running games. In that respect it might be worthwhile to run older games such as Morrowind on a different machine, or replace the operating system on your existing machine. Windows XP is compatible with most games and patches are widely available for those with which it is not.
When will they start? Maybe, just maybe, they already have, since Paul Oughton, the publishing executive for Bethesda, said last year: "At the moment we've got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there's a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010".
The first member of the Blades faction which speaks to the player at the start of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is Captain Renault. The second Blade member you meet is Glenroy. They both approach you as you are in your prison cell at the start of the game.
I don't know about Arena, Daggerfall and morrowind but in Oblivion you need to start the last thieves guild quest 'The ultimate heist' and in skrim it is part of the main quest.
Start in Anvil and go swimming. You should find some oyster clusters soon enough.
You can't start the quest. You have to find the skulls on your own, with no map markers, and return them to the ghosts. The quest does not appear in your journal.
You will meet him as a ghost and will then start collecting his armor, which you will be able to keep and wear. So basically you are this knight after the quests.
Yes, press start and go to the saves and click new save file, name it and accept.
sorry but if your on x-box your gonna have to start a new one if that doesnt work if you disc to scrached to load or is your x-box stuffed up? on computer i have no idea! try start a new one.
go speak to the prophet outside the church in Anvil and he will send you on a pilgrim quest. when you have done all pilgrim points then you will start another quest. complete it and eventually you can get the relics =P
Morrowind is the third Installment of the Elder Scrolls Saga, and the sequel to Arena and Daggerfall. It is a Massive free-roaming, single player RPG which can be played in first or third person perspective. Morrowind is superseded only by "Oblivion", which is the 4th installment in the same saga. The game itself is centred in the fantasy world of Tamriel and all gameplay takes place on or around the island nation of Morrowind. Other races living here include Orcs, Elves, Dwarves, the Cat-like Khajiit and the lizzard-like Argonians. You can work for them, plot and scheme against them, trade with them, steal from them, and fight them with all kinds of weapons. Magic, training and special items improve your ability to do things. There is a central plot and also many sub-plots. The course of the game depends upon every decision you make. You can choose to follow the plots or not. The game does not force any kind of linear play. For all intents and purposes you are a "real" person with a "real" life, in a "real" world! Morrowind is amazing and well worth owning. There is also a construction kit available whereby you can edit anything that exists within the game, or add new content yourself. There are many such existing "plugin" files available for download on the Elder Scrolls official fansite. The two commercial plugins (official expansion packs) are called "Bloodmoon" and "Tribunal" and are also well worth owning, however, you must have Morrowind installed in order to play them. Morrowind is also known as Vvardenfell which is where you'll start off. While in Morrowind,Bloodmoon and Tribunal you MUST stay within the law otherwise you will have to face the consequences of either paying a certain price, going to jail which involves some of your levels going down or you can stay and fight the guards. However, you can try to make a run for it and try to get to the nearest thieves guild(These are not in all the districts so you may need to take the siltstrider). If you are in the Morag Tong they give you a license to kill CERTAIN people which doesn't mean you can just go around killing everyone and then just give the guards the writs. If you click this option and you have not killed the correct person, then the option will disappear and you will have to select one of the other three options.
