Use a telescoping magnet, from your local auto parts store. Or, if your real cheap, a decent magnet on a string will work ( with patience)
How do you remove the drivers door panel and fix the window. It fell off the track.
This is a fairly common thing with cars, it will be the Mechanical parts inside the door frame have broken or fell off from the inside door hinge, you can take it to a Garage or do it yourself, chances are its nothing hard to fix
My 2004 Sienna LE has 65,000 miles and the door latch has broken. The latch broke in half and the part connected to the door broke and fell inside the door - breaking my window clips. Now, I have to replace the window - or not be able to roll down the window. I have not had any problems with the lock breaking.
You have to remove the door panel to see if there is a rod inside that broke or fell out of place but its the only way og getting inside to see whats going on idealy u would remove this with the door open but u need ti do it grom inside the vehicle no chose at this point good luck
Sounds like the rods inside has popped off. Inside door cover has to come off to inspect all linkages. A little clip holds them in place and they are cheap at the dealers. The clip may have broken or simply fallen off. If it fell off it will more than likely be inside the door in the bottom.
How does a man fell when he comes inside the women
How do you remove 96 Toyota Tercel door panel If you are still trying to find out how to remove inside door panel for '96 Toyota Tercel, I just went through the very same process on a '99 Toyota Tercel. 1. Remove window crank (it has a kind of 'bent wire' c-clamp, which holds it onto the window crank shaft).2. Pry upwards the top plastic cover to the arm rest (this is a plastic coated foam rubber piece, on which you rest your arm).3. Remover the two now visible screws which fasten the arm rest onto the door.4. Remove the one screw fastening the inside door handle.5. With a blunt tool, gently hit the inside door handle in a forward direction (towards the door hinge). This will release the door handle from the door.6. Pry between the door panel and the door, to unsnap the snaps holding the door panel in place.7. Finally, lift door panel out and up to remove it from door.
sounds like the control rod has fell off the key barrel inside door Hope this helps

I had the same problem. Removed lock mechanism, cleaned, oiled and replaced. A fiddly job as bits fell off - it had seen better days. Once all back together it locks if I do the following: Get out. Close door. Lock door. Open door. Close door.
Remove the armrest and pull handle. Gently pry and pull the trim panel away from the main door assembly. This will expose the workings and glass that "fell" inside your door. The bolts holding the glass to the regulator mechanism came loose. They're probably laying in the bottom of the door well. Feel around....you'll find 'em. Reattach the glass to the regulator. Snap the panel back into place. Reattach the door handle and armrest. Go for a Dairy Queen!!
The people inside.
