I have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and my horns honked just ever so often. Mine is located behind a shield on the front passenger side around the fog light area. I also found out I could not get the hi and lo horns (has two) in stock anywhere. I could order them, but, were for different jeep model (not Laredo). I went to a large salvage yard and found out that the Oldsmobile, Pontiac, dodge, crysler (jeep) have the same electrical wiring plugs. Took off the whole mounting bracket, took the horns and had them tested. Only one worked. Replaced them both to be safe with one Oldsmobile and one Pontiac. They work great and cost $10.00 for them. I laugh and say I have an opie horn now.........I am an okie (from Oklahoma). A little humor. Hope this helps.
