Yes. The actual tail part should be about an inch in diameter. Then there is a lot of fur on the tail, so about 2 inches diameter total. This thick tail was used for swimming to help steer the dog.
A Labrador Retriever has an otter tail.

yes
Due to its thick coat Labrador Retriever can do okay in very low temperature.
They have thick ears for when they are swimming in the water to keep the insides dry and to keep there ears warm.
Four feet and a tail; but presumably you were looking for something more specific?
No, unless if your Labrador have a docked (cut short) tail. Most Labradors have a medium-length, rounded tail called "otter tail".
All Labrador Retrievers should have an otter type tail, is part of the breed standard. It helps to steer them while swimming. If a breeder is not breeding correctly, their pups may end up with a narrower tail and that is not called for in the standard. That is why you should study up on the breed, any breed, before purchasing one. Go to a reputable breeder who breeds to better the breed. Read up on the breed standard as set forth by the American Kennel Club. Hope this helps. By the way an otter tail is a tail that is thick/wide at the base while slowly tapering out towards the end of the tail.
The Scottish Fold has a thick and inflexible tail.
All Labradors have webbed toes. together with the otter-like rudder tail, it makes them excellent swimmers.I suspect a Labrador with brown webbed feet will be a cholcolate labrador.
