Based on the record, the lowest temperature ever recorded in the Philippines dates back in 1961. The temperature dropped as low as 6 degrees Celsius. It was recorded in the city of Baguio which is situated more or less than 5000 ft from sea level.

Normal temperatures during the "cold" season in the Philippines which is from December to February is about 15 degrees Celsius, depending on the location. Some areas in the country is situated on a higher altitude and some are on the low plains.

Some people who are from countries who has winter season might not attribute the coldness that Filipinos feel as really "cold". Basically it's more on perspective.
