Take it to a qualified mechanic. Some Autozone employees are good, others are not too intelligent.
The main problem is that the picture transmission standards are different in different countries so that in general TVs do not work in that situation.
if you have the tools no problem check the autozone web site they have online manuals
Have your OBD-2 scanned you can buy a scanner or if you can get it to move your local autozone will scan it for free Unless you are a transmission expert, take it to a transmission shop. There is a problem with the OD unit.
When you have problem shifting gears, you transmission has a problem.
What type transmission and what problem?
If by show wrong you mean it tells you your in first instead of second gear going down the road that could be a simple fix. Theres a sensor on your shift linkage that tell you what gear your in. it that's out of broken it could just tell you your in a different gear. As well as if it will lead to the down fall of your transmission i'd have it checked it should pop up a check engine problem usually and your local autozone can asses the problem for you.
I went to my local AutoZone and ask that question they gave me a (free) key like thing that goes under your dash (they even showed me a picture of where to place the key)turn your ignition on and count the flashes on your service engine light, then call AutoZone and they will tell you what the flashes indicate the problem is. And it is all at no cost.
An automotive diagnostic system.
If it is a transmission problem, the best thing you can do is have the transmission rebuilt. That will fix the problem and prevent any further damage to the transmission.
your problem is the transmission. you need to replace the transmission
I've had this problem with the same transmission. Replace the input and output speed sensors and that will more than likely fix your problem - if not you have a more serious problem with the transmission. See the attached link to the Autozone repair page explaining where they are etc.... Good luck! http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/18/24/de/0900823d801824de/repairInfoPages.htm
Depends on the transmission and year. 5 or 6 cylinder? What is the problem with the transmission?
