Kinetic energy. Direct current or dc. The force is electromotive force and is measured in amps.
battery A generator electrical outlet solar panel wind turbine or any source a voltage can be obtained.
A reverse current relay prevents a generator from discharging the battery when generator output is less than battery voltage. When generator output is greater than battery voltage, the reverse current relay closes and connects generator to electrical bus.

The battery is charged by a generator that runs through a regulator-rectifier. The generator outputs AC voltage and the rectifier converts the voltage to DC. The generator is normally mounted inside the engine on the flywheel.
A voltage. That acts like a force on electrons (or other charged particles), pushing them away from one end, and attracting them to the other end (of a battery, for example).A voltage. You would have to apply a higher voltage from outside - for example, in the case of DC, connect a battery that provides more voltage, or connect more than one battery in series; or in the case of AC, use a transformer to increase the voltage.
It means that you have an alternator fitted. An alternator needs an amount of battery voltage to generate electricity. A generator/dynamo will make voltage without a battery being present.
A battery.
The voltage for this is 12 volts The alternator/generator should be producing 13.5 to 14.5 volts
By checking battery voltage while the engine is running and the lights are on.
A terminal potential difference is the potential difference appearing across the terminals of a voltage source, such as a battery or a generator, which varies according to the load supplied. When the battery or generator is off load (i.e. no load is connected to it), the terminal potential difference is equal to the electromotive force of that battery or generator. The terminal potential difference tends to decrease as the load current increases, due to a corresponding increase in the internal voltage drop of the battery or generator.
Depends on which circuit. It can be from a battery, or a device called a generator, alternator, dynamo, or a magneto.
