This is (obviously) important, given that you could ruin your filter or send contaminated water back into your pool. Don't be cheap. Buy a new multiport valve.

Stop when you reach that number (it turns red and goes on to the next one). If you turn the dial in the wrong direction, you can stop and go back. Otherwise you could turn it all day and not get it.
