I own a 2002 Chevy sub,and the wipers would not stop working one day when i turned them on to clean off my winshield after a day at the beach.I would turn the control front to back,but would only change speeds,so i pulled the fuse(located in the panel on the side of the dash on the drivers side.After some research i found out that the signal/wiper assembly was dunfore and would need a replacement.I purchased a exact replacement at monster auto parts .com for the price of 99.00 plus shipping.Now it is as good as new.The part is an aftermarket piece but it works like new and beats the 360.00 dealer price for the same part.

The "park switch" located on motor assembly is not opening the power circuit to motor when it reaches "park" location. Remove cover and inspect switch, which is opened by a cam on motor shaft.
