m18x1.5 is the threading for Honda civic/del sols, and probably most other o2 sensor bungs
The oxygen sensor on a Honda Civic is replaced by disconnecting the wiring harness and removing the sensor using a socket wrench. Anti-seize paste is applied to the threads, a new sensor is torqued into place, and the wires reconnected.
on my civic there are two bolt holes in the face of the drum, they are metric thread , you will need to get two bolts and thread them in at equal rates and the drum should "POP" off. they will get tight before this happens . a little oil on the threads will help as they are usually a little rusted up , hope this helps
FORWARD. IF YOU ARE HAVING A PROBLEM GETTING IT LOOSE, TRY HEATING IT UP. HONDA PUTS LOCTITE ON THE THREADS. THIS SHOULD HELP.
No. Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey. Just removed mine and looking for the specs on the thread as it looks like the last person in put it back in with a hammer-drill and broke some of the threads on the bolt: hence, I need to run a bottoming tap into the crankshaft to make sure these threads are still good.
Where is the LAF sensor located on a 92 honda civic?
NO
The coolant sensor is also the temperature sensor, it can be found on the head under the distributor for 1.5 liter Civic motors prior to 1992.
i would like a wiring diagram for a Honda civic o2 sensor
Purchase a new 1 wire o2 sensor Remove the old one with a 21 or 22mm wrench Install the new one really tight. You can add high temp thread lock if youd like.
where is the tdc in my 98 civic ex sedan
IT is a Intake Air Temperature sensor
Idle Air Temperature sensor.
