On a 2000 (not sure 01 is the same or not), it is located uner the dah on the passengers side. Held on by 4 (I believe) bolts and sensor connector. Remove the bolts and attached wiring. Blower should remove easily.

If you mean the belt fell off the gears while the engine was running, you will have to replace the cylinder head. This is a zero clearance DOHC motor.
