.... you do not need to lose weight.. just thought I'd say that first. A pound = 3500 calories. Depending on how many calories you burn with exercise, and how much you burn as a base.. I'd say you burn about 1500-1800 calories a day, just existing. Cut back so you lose about 1.5-2 pounds a week.. Eat about 1200-1300 calories a day. Honestly, you're still growing... and you probably don't even need to cut back that drastically if you're going to exercise. You could probably just exercise and be fine, and lose the weight as long as you don't eat any more than you are right now. Good luck!

it isn't how many calories you need to loose it is how many do you need to eat and how much exersizing should you do!! i have done lots of things to loose weight and honestly the thing that i keep going back to is weight watchers it is easy and once you have learned the way to do it you do not need to go to meetings forever... learn th systema and it is awesome... i lost 17 pounds in 6 weeks first time ad 15 pounds in 8 weeks the second time!!!
