You will need a good hydraulic floor jack, and at least one jack stand to jack the car up as it sits too low to get under otherwise. Place the jack stand under the front side of the car, set the parking brake and put the car in park if A/T or reverse if M/T. You will need a 17 mm socket and ratchet to remove the drain plug. You can also use a boxed end 17 mm wrench. Do not use an open end wrench or adjustable wrench. Retighten to 20 lb/ft of torque. You will need a catch pan to drain the oil into. If you find the drain plug leaks replace the metal gasket with a fiber gasket. You may need a filter wrench to remove the filter if it was put on too tight. Tighten 3/4 turn, no more, no less, after it makes contact withe the mounting surface and you can remove it next oil change with your hand. Do not forget to oil the gasket on the new filter before installing or it may leak. Use a quality filter such as Purolator or Wix. Use a name brand 5w20 weight oil and pour in 4.5 quarts with the filter change 4 cylinder and 4.7 quarts V6.

The tools needed to drop the gas tank of a 94 Honda Accord are screwdrivers, a socket set, and pliers. The tank is unbolted from the frame which allows it to be lowered from the vehicle.
Easy with the right tools. You can ghetto do it with a set of metric wrenches and small hands, though.
It does not have brake shoes, it has brake pads. And, yes you will need a special caliber compression tool. You can borrow this tool at almost any auto parts store that sells pads. Just ask.
A heavy-duty impact wrench is the only really unusual tool you need for this job. Once you get the crank pulley bolt out ('taint easy) just wrenches, screwdrivers, allen keys and all the other ordinary tools anyone should have are all you'll need.

The tools needed for an oil change tend to be common tools. A floor jack is needed to access the oil pan. A pan which is used to drain oil into. A wrench and socket set is used to remove and replace the oil cap.
It is a sign that your transmission is about to go out, unless you have all the tools i would suggest shop time.
