The orignol idea came from teddy Roosevelt and the idea was that you would have the president to look after a child
that was the teddy bear. Once upon a time president Roosvelt wanted to go on a bear hunting trip. To make it easier for the president someone devised an idea. Let us take a bear and tie it to a tree so it will be easy for the president to shoot. When Roosvelt saw the animal was tied he did not want to shoot it. This is how it became known as the teddy bear.
The teddy bear was inspired by a hunting trip involving President Theodore Roosevelt in 1902. The idea of creating a stuffed bear and naming it after him originated from a political cartoon and led to the invention of the teddy bear by Morris Michtom in the United States and Richard Steiff in Germany around the same time.
I personally thought the idea was cute when i got one, i liked it. I asked a few other people who have had it happen, they all thought it was either cute or nice, but all liked the idea of a teddy, its an... affectionate gift (i think that's the word we agreed on)
While on a hunting expedition, President Roosevelt refused to shoot an injured bear tied to a tree and the incident was drawn by a political cartoonist, Clifford Berryman. The famous cartoon gave a shopkeeper, Morris Michton the idea of calling stuffed bears sewn by his wife "Teddy's bears" (with permission from Roosevelt). In 1903, an American ordered hundreds of stuffed bears from a German company, Steiff (run by Margaret Steiff, the sewer of the soon-to-be famous toy; TRA "TR and the Teddy Bear"). Today, stuffed bears are called teddy bears. Teddy Roosevelt started the idea of national parks in the US. if it weren't for him we wouldn't have the grand canyon or Yellowstone.
I'm a little confused by this question. Is the idea to preserve the teddy bear? In that case I would recommend anything with cedar in it. You wouldn't have to get an entire cedar box, but most places that sell closet accessories sell cedar shavings or cedar blocks that you can pack with your bear. This prevents insect infestations like moths.
Teddy Roosevelt
i really have no idea
For my opinon i think it was a man or a woman.

I wouldn't recommend it. Rats have been known to be predatory, For example if a mouse got in your house you could allow your rat out and he or she will most likely catch (and kill) the intruder. For that reason I don't think it would be a good idea.
