The VSC (Variable Skid Control) function is automatically activated by the onboard computer of the vehicle. When the light is on - the system is activated. If the light remains on it means that you are constantly driving on road conditions which the onboard computer senses a skid may be likely - or - it has failed to deactivate for some reason. There is no way (I know of) of manually deactivateng the system, and you may want to contact your mechanic or Toyota dealer.
Read the owners manual. It has step-by-step instructions.
It's telling you to change the oil.

To re-set Toyota Highlander 'maintenance required' dashboard warning light: Turn on the ignition and observe the odometer window. Ensure that it is set on the totalaccumulated mileage of the vehicle (NOT the trip meter). Turn off ignition. With the ignition off - depress the little plastic switch that changes the odometer to the trip meter and then while holding the switch in the depressed position, turn on ignition (it is not necessarry to start the car). Continue holding the swtich down for 5-10 seconds and you will see the odometer window flash back to zero. Release the switch and turn the ignition off, and it will be re-set for another 7,500 miles.
Turn key on. Set odometer to odo not trip a or b. Turn key off. Press and hold trip setter. With trip setter still held turn key on, continue to hold trip setter for 5 seconds. Reset Main req light after an oil change. **Nope, doesn't work, just tried it on 09 highlander.
1. Turn the ignition key to the 'Lock" position with the odometer (total mileage) reading showing. 2. Turn the ignition key to the "On" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob/button. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer will indicate "000000" and the light will go off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing. Note: This procedure is in the 2005 Highlander owners manual under the section entitled "Operation of instruments and Controls (Section 1-6) and is not limited to the Highlander but may apply to other Toyota models and model years as well.

2007 Toyota Highlander turn signal light bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement turn signal light bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the turn signal light bulb replacement procedure. As simple as it sounds, the owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement instructions and illustrations. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).
