Yes, the color of the light will effect how the plant grows. If you put sa plants under a U.V light and the light color is red the plants will grow better than the U. V lgith color that is black.
I don't know really!!
I just wanted to know for a science project aha
most suitable light for plants is green ( sunlight ) light
Usually, red, blue and violet work the best since green light is reflected while red and blue are absorbed. Combining red and blue will give you magenta which is close to violet.
yes because since white light contains all of the colors of the spectrum it is absorbed by the plant than reflected

maby maroon
The color of a light does affect a plants growth. Plants absorb certain colors of light better than others, and, essentially, the more light a plant can absorb, the more it can grow.
Red color of light

Blue and purple light.

Does the color of light effect how well plants grow?
pink and violet
plants dont really need what kind of color light as long as it is exposed in the sun the plant will surely grow healthy and vigorously. no plants that i know need color light just to grow they all need the suns light no other than.
yes it would. plants absorb different colors of light better than others. the more light plants absorb, the more they grow. certain colors let in more light energy for the plant.
The plants only absorb green light from the white light of sun. It doesn't mean that you are going to put a green color transparent plastic sheet in front of light and plant gonna grow more but it requires the source to produce the green light like Sodium produce yellow light used in fog lamps.
