Your wording is a little rough but I think you're asking if you can use 2 different openers on the same door, and the answer is yes. In most cases, there will be a way to program the openers, but sometimes you have to program the receiver on the door. There are a set of small switches inside the control that you can set to what ever code your door is set for. Your best bet is to check the website for the door you're working on. Tech support there will have all the answers you need.
IF MY GARAGE DOOR REMOTE IS NOT WORKING AS WELL AS IT ONCE DID, IS THERE A BATTERY IN IT THAT NEEDS TO BE REPLACE??
If you have an EX model, it has 3 buttons on the overhead console. That is the Homelink Wireless Control System. Information is available in the Driving Tips Section of the Manual. (Mine is a 2004 Sedona EX) At the end of section 5 are the directions for programing the on-board Homelink Wireless Control System. There are a couple different senerios for different type of garage door openers. Hopefully This helps!
If it's not too old it will have a yellow, gray, red, or purple button either on the back or the side depending on the model. If it's an older unit it will have dips switches not a button and requires a remote with dip switches as well.
On the side of the opener by where the thin wires connect there should be a 1/4 inch square button. Push this and you have 30 seconds to enter a 4 digit code in the remote pad and then press enter on the pad. That should do it. Instruction should be on the inside of the cover on the remote pad. I have had the same problem but when trying to get a number pad and a remote to work on the same opener has been a challenge! I can get either to work but I can not get both Suggestions I have two openers #1 Craftsman 139.53672 SRT1 mfg date 9-97 Key pad does not work (yes that sucks) #2 Craftsman 139.53910 mfg date 8-04 works like a charm go figure.
open your remote handset up.take the battery out..look at the battery identifying marks..go to your supermaket and buy one, replace it, simple
