mine usually went on and off when the emergency brake was on or off. if it stays on when your e-brake is not pulled, there is a problem with your brakes somewhere. probably not enough to be dangerous but enough that you should get them checked

When it says, "low trac" that just means you are on very grassy ground, or on ice or snow... It's proven that there's nothing to worry about. Just pray for better weather if it's snow.

Your car is equipped with Traction Control. This light means it is turned off.
Off
You can turn the traction control on and off. If the light is on, then it is turned off or there is a problem. Read your owner's manual.
There should be a button somewhere that turns it off. Question is, why do you want to turn it off? to the left of the steering wheel the are a few buttons. TRAC OFF press it, the TRAC light appears on the dash. FYI: the TRAC system can only be turned off up to about 20 mph.
