In Genesis, chapter 1 and a reiteration in chapter 2 tells us the creation of the earth and of man. After God created all things He lastly created man to take charge of creation starting by putting him in the Garden of Eden. Man was made from the dust of the earth by God Himself and He breathed the breath of life into man, this man was Adam. Adam being created in the image and likeness of God was well equipped to, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it....." He was the first of all created human beings. Eve, his wife was created out of one of Adam's ribs, also by God Himself.
According to The Bible, Adam was the first man God created and his wife Eve was also the first woman God created and all this happened on the sixth day of creation.
God created to take care or to take control over all His creations.

The Hebrew word "Adam" is simply the generic term for "man". Elsewhere in the Bible where it refers to "man" the word is also "Adam".
God gave him a personal name "Adam" that also became the generic for all mankind. The name had no meaning when it was given (God created it along with everything else).
Because the name "Adam" is the same as the word for "man" or "mankind" we can begin to understand that Adam was not only our forefather, but also a type (or symbol) for all mankind. See 1 Corinthians 15:22+
There are two different stories of the creation of man in the Book of Genesis, so the Bible gives us a choice: Genesis 1:26-27 says that God simply spoke man (both male and female) into existence on day six. Here 'man' implies at least two persons, a male and a female, and could as easily mean a larger number of each. If there was only one man, we are not told his name.
There is a second creation story in Genesis, beginning at verse 2:4b, which many conflate with the first in the belief that it is a more detailed summary of one part of creation. However, a careful reading shows just how different it is, and Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that we should scrupulously avoid reading into the second story any facts or notions taken from the first, and vice versa. In this story, God creates a man called Adam, who is certain (in this account) the first man God created.

ADAMAdam-eve was made from adam Adam was first created by God from the dust of the earth, after seeing Adam was lonely, after naming all the creature of the earth, air and water, God created Eve from Adam's rib. Adam and Eve. They were created at the same time.Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Since God gave Adam a wife, it is most likely Adam was created as a man.
Please kindly note Adam was not born first , he was created first. As god felt that the garden of Eden was to nice and not to have a man in the garden to enjoy it.
