Yes, they shared the dad, Henry 8th
Her brother was Edward VI and her sister was Mary Tudor, known as Bloody Mary or Mary I. She also had an illegitimate brother, Henry Fitzroy who died within a year or two of her birth.
He married Elizabeth 1st's older sister. (Elizabeth was not queen at this time of course.)
Elizabeth I had no brothers and sisters. Her father, King Henry VIII of England, beheaded her mother when Elizabeth was only 3. She did have a half-brother named Edward who was born after her to Jane Seymour, as well as a half-sister named Mary (also known as Bloody Mary) who was born before Elizabeth to Catherine of Aragon.
it depends what you mean. bloody Mary tried to restore Catholicism to England, and burnt Protestants to try and get her way. Elizabeth wanted to restore protestantism, and in some respects succeeded. if you were Protestant Elizabeth was a better queen, but if you are catholic Mary was a better queen. hope that helps! PS: bloody Mary wasn't actually that bloody!
1 brother edward 1st and 1 sister elizabeth 1st
I think she had 2 half sisters and 1 half brother.
'Bloody' Mary Tudor died in 1558 of ovarian cancer, and was succeeded by her younger half-sister Elizabeth 1st. Elizabeth was the last Tudor monarch, reigning from 1558 until her death in 1603- she oversaw the defeat of the Spanish Armada and strengthened Britain's military forces, but died unmarried and childless. As a result, the throne passed to her cousin, James 1st of Scotland (Scotland then still being an independent nation). This saw the end of the Tudor era and the beginning of the Stuart dynasty.
No she just has 1 older brother--Chase Ryan
One of his daughters was Elizabeth I, later Queen Elizabeth I of England. his 1st daughter was called Mary (Bloody Mary) her mother was Catherine of Aaragon, then came Elizabeth (Elizabeth I her mother was Anne Bolyn)
1.) Mary was given the name''Bloody Mary'' because she had almost burnt innocent people and protestant at the stake in 5 years! 2.) She was a catholic but hated protestants. 3.) She accurately burnt 285 people including protestants and her sister Queen Elizabeth the 1st 5 in five years. 4.) She helped poor people.
Elizabeth the 1st was on the throne before King James the 1st
She did what she was raised to do. She converted the land back to Protestantism.
