Elijah never went to Heaven we was tooken up in the chariot of fire to the heavens(skys). Moses however was never said to have went to Heaven. So neither one of then went to Heaven before Jesus paid the penalty of sin. "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, the Son of man which is in heaven" -John 3:13 Obviously they didn't ascend into heaven then.
Elijah and Enoch were the only two people mentioned in the Bible to go to heaven without dying. Enoch was the first of the two.
Moses lived to the age of 120. There are some who believe he was then 'translated' - taken up by God without 'tasting' death.
As prophet Elijah did not die but was taken up into heaven on a cloud, so he still existing and came with Moses on the hill.
The first person mentioned dying is Cain killing Abel. Judging by the text Abel definitely went to Heaven.Answer:"...NO MAN HATH ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven." (John 3:13)
"...no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven." (John 3:13)Another answer:You're probably thinking of Elijah: 2 Kings 2:11 - Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. [NKJV]
In Christianity, it is believed that Jesus ascended to heaven after his resurrection. Additionally, it is mentioned in the Bible that both Enoch and Elijah were taken to heaven without experiencing death.
Yes. He was taken up to heaven in a cloud.Another View:The Bible is very explicit about who has/hasn't gone up to heaven. In reading Hebrews 11, aka "The Faith Chapter," Paul mentions all who have gone before us as not yet receiving the final reward of being in Heaven. Further, Revelation, we are told that 'heaven' is coming down to the New Earth. Lastly, consider what Jesus Himself, has said here:John 3:13New International Version (NIV) 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven-the Son of Man.[a] Footnotes: John 3:13 Some manuscripts Man, who is in heavenYes.Jewish answer:Yes, after he died on Mount Nevo.
The bible never says that the risen Christ ever appeared with Moses. Some time before his crucifixion, death, and resurrection,Moses and Elijah did appear to Jesus, but not as spirits because Moses and Elijah are not dead. Mt:17:3: And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Lk:9:30: And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias: Elijah was taken to Heaven in a chariot of fire. 2Kgs:2:11: And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. Moses was resurrected and taken to Heaven. Jude:1:9: Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Voldemort does end up dying .
Like Elijah, Enoch did not experience physical death (Gen 5.24), though he did not go to heaven as no OT believer was able to go to heaven until Christ's saving work on the cross was complete. All OT believers went first to Paradise, or 'Abraham's Bosom'. This is a compartment of Hades, now empty since Christ led the OT believers into heaven at some stage during the three days of His physical entombment. Lots of verses to verify this, yet my apologies that I don't have time to look them all up.
You know only God can answer that. But as humans if we look at this question with logic, its better to believe in God than not at all. If some one truly believe in God at the death bed not because they are dying or the fear of death maybe they will enter Heaven. if you did not belive in god, no probably not.Answer:Jesus Christ says: "...no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven." (John 3:13)So, according to the Bible, no man except Jesus Christ is in heaven or has ever gone there... and the answer is "no, you won't go to heaven."
