Hurricane Emily was a very bad Hurricane. In fact, it was one of the most powerful hurricanes of the 2005 Hurricane Season; it just didn't really make landfall in the United States. However, it did make landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula and later made landfall on the Mexico/Texas border.

Hurricane Emily reached winds of 160 mph at its height in the Caribbean.
