I recently purchase my 1999 Suburban which has 225,XXX miles on it. Since purchase date there have been a few minor repairs conducted; such as oil lines, radiator, 4x4 leak, and the inside door handle.
However, considering the age of the vehicle, it drives like a dream. It has been very reliable, comfortable, and plenty of travel space.
If you are considering purchasing one, I would definitely have it check outed by a certified mechanic; however, if you find a gem you will not be disappointed.
No it does not.
