Yes. It has more America casualities than any other war. That is most likely because Americans were figthing Americas, there was more advanced weaponry than in the Revolution, it was longer than the War of 1812, both wars involved British and French as well to spilt casualities and no other war was fought on America soil. We were only in WW 1 for the last year of fighting and the only devastating attack on America in WW 2 was Pearl Harbor.
The main causes of surrender during the American Civil War are the same reason for surrender in any other war,... one side overwhelms the other.
by making more profuis to other countries
The Civil War cost the most American lives because every life lost was American.
The US Civil War has also been called The War for Southern Independence, The Second American Revolution, The Late Unpleasantness, The Rebellion, War Between the States and the list goes on.
On one side it was sad that so many were killed, on the other side, it was good for the nation to sort itself out.
Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle in the American Civil War, with about 47,000 casulties. However it is not even close to being the bloodiest battle in history. There are many other historical battle with much higher casualty rates. The bloodiest battle in History was the Battle of Stalingrad in World War II with about 2 Million casualties in total.
The US Civil War killed more American citizens than any other war. But it's far from being the bloodiest war. Some estimate that millions of natives died during Americas expansion westward from disease and battle. The American Civil War killed an estimated 618,000 Americans while WWI had 116,000 American deaths. WWII had 416,800 and Vietnam had 58,267 American deaths. Compare that to the tens of millions killed in places like China or countries in southeast Asia during their civil wars.
yea No. Other Civil War battles were much bloodier than either of the two battles of Bull Run.
We fought OURSELVES in the US Civil War (1861-1865); so it was the bloodiest. The death toll was also higher than any other war obviously because American citizens were the ones fighting.

The battle of Gettysburg was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War and not the bloodiest day, because it lasted three days: from July 1 through July 3,1865. The bloodiest single-day battle was Antietam in September of 1862.
In the American civil war, yes.
The bloodiest battle in the US Civil War took place in Maryland at the Battle of Antietam in September 1862. This was a sad day for all Americans, North or South. 13,000 Confederate soldiers lay dead or wounded and the Union had 12,000 casualties. This horrible battle saw twice as many Americans killed in a single day than in every other 19th century war combined.
Fort Phil Kearny was the bloodiest history of any of the forts.
No, 620,000 people died in the American Civil War which is more than all of the other American Wars combined.
