Europe saw the creation and dissolution of many countries, especially in Eastern Europe. Europe also had to rebuild itself from its most devastating war in history: World War II. Even more so, Europe was undergoing the Cold War, a war against communism, that basically split Europe into two sides (West vs. East) and threatened the lives of everyone with a nuclear war. However, with this, Europe saw immense growth in cooperation among countries, particularly in the West. These countries eventually led to the creation of organizations like the European Union.
Generally the European people is too busy to think in their history, and the history of Europe is very very complex... but exciting!
