yes there is i recently bought one at a yardsale adn am looking for a manual on it. i am currently taking it apart for cleaning and cann't figure out how to take the main section apart. it is a single shot and has a 3" chamber.
12 gauge.
The lower the gauge the heavier, sheet metal, wire & shotguns...
bliggity bloggity.
A 100 gauge piece of aluminum has a thickness of 0.0010 inches. Gauge is a universal system used to measure the thickness of metal and wire.
GAUGE , is one inch thick of steel or metal. So, take this one inch thick of steel sheet and cut it into 12 equal thickness sheets , you get a 12 gauge steel sheet. Similarly, take this one inch thick of steel sheet and cut it into 14 equal thickness sheets , you get a 14 gauge steel sheet. and so on . So, a 12 gauge steel sheet is thicker than 14 gauge , 14 is thicker than 16 , 16 is thicker than 18 and so on. Wrong!!! See my discussion on this...
I have a Stevens Model 940E,it has a 410 sleave in the gun . It is able to shot 410 as will as it shots 12 gauge when the 410 sleave is taken out. I've had a few guys look at it, they all say they had not seen one before. Is the sleave made for this gun by stevens? ,,

Yes the stock on a Winchester Model 12 16 gauge is the same as a 20 gauge. 16 gauge,20 gauge, and 28 gauge are all the same for the Winchester Model 12. Thanks, Tim
