We have city water What might cause both cold and hot water in only one of our home's sinks to have a sulfur smell for the first few seconds of running when all other faucets do not do this?

If the water heater is near this faucet, I would check it frist. The sacrifcial rod in some heaters can cause this. Also, when the water heats up it will expand and back up into the feed water line, mixing the hot and cold water so that the cold water may have the same small.
