No. The Africans weren't the first people on earth. And they were actually called Native Americans. Anyway, to answer your question, there were other people such as Chinese, American and Mexican people. Though if your studying about Africa/Native Americans, than you wouldn't learn about other people who were on earth. But if you want to know, than , no. the answer is no. It's just other people didn't know about the Africans and the Africans didn't know about other people so they thought they were the first people to be one earth.
