The 1993 Chevy S 10 Blazer 4.3 liter engine temperature sensor can be grounded to the engine block. You can use the temperature sensor retaining bolts to ground the temperature sensor.
My temperature gauge will go up to 280 and in a few minutes it will go down to 250 and stay there. i have a 2001 sio w/4.3 vortech. Is this a sign that the heat sensor may be bad?
It does not have one on that year.
If you mean coolant temperature sensor.... ITs on the driver side, behind the alternator. Must remove the alternator!
It has 1 coolant sensor, 1 temperature sensor
The automatic transmission fluid temperature sensor on a 1997 Chevy Blazer S10 is located on top of the transfer case. It is in the engine compartment.
The temp sensor for the ECM (engine control module) is next to the thermostat housing.
Behind the alternator on the driver side!
Nope. The computer doesn't even look at the oxygen sensor until the oxygen sensor reaches operating temperature.
