I think if your naming a lion cub or fully grown lion you should use a name that is close to you ie; someone who has passed away, someone special to you or even just think of a film that has lions in and name it from there, like 'Born Free' or 'The Lion King 1, 1/2, 2 or 3'. Personally I like the name Simba like from the lion king but really its up to you!
