Sanatana Hindu religion is based on two aspects- Shiva and Sakti. The three important deities of Hinduism are Bramha Vishnu and Maheswar. Lord Shiva ( also called as maheswar and by many other names) is the most important God of Hinduism. Hinduism being the oldest religion in the world is a flexible religion irrespective of one's sex ie both women and men are equal. Hence there are both female and male Gods in our religion.
