At least 700 on whatever you take. However, not have that number doesn't automatically disqualify you, and having perfect scores doesn't lock you in. It's a crapshoot man.

Answer: It's good to have at least 700 on each subject test you take. That said, having a sub-700 score does not automatically disqualify you, and having perfect 800s on each one does not automatically get you into one of these schools. The admissions committee's selections are heavily subjective, and there are many factors that are important besides standardized test scores. Having high scores is definitely a plus, of course, but there are many more factors that determine the acceptance or rejection of an applicant.

but also keep in mind that while many colleges have an average SAT score for their incoming class, there is NO minimum requirement for testing scores. Colleges undoubtedly look at many different aspects of your high school career, like grades, activities, and community service. Usually, the better your GPA/more well-rounded you are, the lower your SAT score has to be for you to get in.

700 or more on whatever you get, but it's not a "requirement". So even if you get a lower score, you're not automatically disqualified, though it does lower your chances significantly.

Harvard accepts scores ranging from 600-800. You shouldn't be at too much of a disadvantage if you're in there.

You should check their admissions website for specifics, but most will recommend 2 SAT subject tests. Also, depending on what major/area you are applying for, you may want to send an SAT Subject test score that is relevant to that major/area, and again the admissions website will list the specific requirements.
