For defining
The defining right of a representative democracy is the ability of citizens to elect individuals to represent them in decision-making processes and governance. This allows for the voices and interests of the people to be heard and taken into account in the functioning of the government.
Social contract
The Constitution plays an important role by laying down the framework defining fundamental political principles, establishing the structure, procedures, powers, and duties of government institutions, and most importantly setting out fundamental rights, directive principals, and the duties of citizens.
The principle of limited government does not have the purpose of restricting the power of any part of the government. Instead, it aims to limit the overall power of the government as a whole by defining its scope and protecting individual rights. This principle ensures that the government does not become too overreaching and infringe upon the rights and freedoms of its citizens.
