Do not willingly scare a cat or stress it with disturbing noises, it will only produce behavioral problems and it is also an unnecessary cruelty. If you wish to remove a cat from a place it is enough to spray the place with one of the commercially available sprays for keeping areas pet free. Another option is to place one of many plants that cats do not like because of their scent.

∙ 10y agoCertainly, prey sounds puts them on the alert. Scratching, squeaking, and rustling says that there is a hot dinner out there! We can always get their attention with crumpled paper, crackly cellophane, or even scraping our nails across a rough surface.
But sounds they love... that would be us, saying their name with love in our voice. Music can attract them, especially with strings or Saxophone. We can say silly things and if our voice sounds happy, this make them happy.
