The photograph of the appearance of six unidentified flying objects before the very eyes of George Adamski (April 17, 1891 - April 23, 1965) is memorialized by a Grenada commemorative stamp of August 1978. Specifically, the objects appeared and were photographed by Adamski on May 29, 1950. Almost three decades later, the photograph was chosen by the Caribbean island nation to be incorporated into the design of a commemorative stamp to celebrate the "Year of UFOs."
