for power transfer
*********************************
The clutch in a manual transmission is used to disengage the engine from the drive shaft in order to change the gear ratio. The gear ratio dictates how fast the drive wheels will turn. 1st gear (low) allows the car to get under way from a standing stop. The 2nd gear ratio allows the vehicle to go a bit faster, and also facilitates making turns around corners. 3rd gear (high) permits the vehicle to go at higher speeds. Each time the clutch is employed the gears may be changed depending on which maneuver the driver is doing. The new gear is engaged once the clutch is let out.
A spring is used to hold together the clutch and the flywheel.
A clutch wrench is a mechanical tool used to hold a clutch in place during installation. This holds the clutch still and does not allow it to move.
The clutch is probably too used
A Chicken clutch are the eggs that the broody has decided to sit on. "Clutch" is the word used in terms of the eggs she is sitting on.
A Stage 1 clutch is the introductory level clutch used in cars used for daily driving. Stage 2 and greater clutches are designed for racing applications.

The cone clutch used to be used in old automobiles, but is now only used for specialty vehicles. These include race boats, tractors, and racecars.

no such thing as clutch fluid. dot 3 brake fluid is to be used in the clutch tank
It depends on the quality of clutch in the vehicle you have. my sister used to ride her clutch a lot, as did a few other people i knew. If you are lucky, your clutch may last a year or two... its best not to ride the clutch too much if you can help it.
