its a 49 22 cal made by Ithaca single action
I have the same question. Where can I find a clip for J.C.Higgins Model 103.228?
75-200 USD
Stevens 416 is the same
C02 is the easiest to load but is also the least in power. Most C02 will not travel over 600 FPS ( Feet Per second) Spring and pump can attain higher power up to and over 1200 FPS. But these rifles are usually single shot. However the most powerful rifles/pistols are in the PCP class of weapons. These require a bicycle pump or scuba tank to charge them and will fire much larger pellets up to 9MM, 45 Cal and 50 Cal. I suggest a good C02 for a pistol. It's fun and usually you get 40 to 60 shots from a C02 powerlett.
I would pay $1000 for this Pro Conceal .45 acp!
Model 72 Saddlegun was a lever action .22 cal rifle made in W. Germany by Erma-Werke, AG, and imported by Ithaca between 1973 and 1979.
1961-1978

I think you must be the same person who just asked about the gun, providing only the serial number. Since there was no other information, the question was answered assuming it was a shotgun. However - if it is a .22, you need to let us know whether it is a single shot lever action, a lever action repeater, a clip-fed rifle, or a pistol - all of which were sold by Ithaca in .22 cal.
Your browning lever action 22 was made in 1976.

No, bolt-action only. Bummer! I was under the impression that they did some years back but discontinued the 35 cal. lever action rifle by Remington
