I would say that it would cause your Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) to fail i.e if you slam on your brakes really hard they will lock up and you will skidd to a stop and possibly off the road. It may also leak brake fluid so I would keep an eye on your brake fluid levels. If it gets low a light will come on in the dash. If your car runs OUT of brake fluid your brakes WILL NOT work. My suggestion if you have go to your mechanic and have the value fixed. Brakes are the most important thing in your car.
it could be that one or all of your sensors are faulty, it could be the abs relay is faulty or it could be the abs pump that is faulty ( or it could also be a fuse )
The tire will not affect the abs system but it will more than likely affect the traction control system. It could give a faulty read out due to the treadwear.
No, that's usually either the caliper or a corroded slide. It is also possible that a faulty proportioning valve could do this. Also, in ABS equipped vehicles, some part of the ABS system's valving or controller may be faulty.
I don't see how. The ABS system is designed to fall safe, ie, off.
If the abs light on a 4 wheel MX6 dashboard comes on, it is due to faulty abs sensor. It may also be due to a faulty rotor.
No, you will still have normal braking but your will not have a functioning ABS.
Faulty ABS unit .
Yes it could.
to turn the abs light off
USUALLY HAS TO DO WITH A FAULTY ABS MODUAL
Most common cause would be a faulty wheel speed sensor or damaged wires.
the relay is in the abs pump
