Hinduism is based on two main concepts

a. Dharama (Donate or Give without expecting any return )

b. Karma (Receiving by the virtue of physical action and good deeds).

These are widely seen in their customs too.Dharmic Customs nourish ethics and Karmic customs nourish values in every Hindu/Human being. Dharma makes each Hindu/Human being responsible for everyone 1. Worship and offerings to Mankind, Earth,Planet ,Plants-(e.g Tulsi ) Animals(e.g Cow) and river (e.g River) etc. comes under Dharmic Custom . Karma governs to physical action to rejuvenate body and soul spiritually by ingraining human Values 2.Younger people receive blessing from elders ,parents or teachers by touching their feets is a classical example of Karmic Custom.
