This is a broader question than relates to just energy, but I will try to keep it in the field of energy.
Things that are removed from the ground are, for the most part, non-renewable. (1)Coal is one, (2) petroleum is another. (3) Peat could be renewable, if peat moss were stewarded (grown renewably or harvested in non-damaging quantities), but in practice, it is usually not.
Animals have been hunted for oils, such as (4) whale oil, and this was done through most of history without regard to preservation of the species involved. (5) Seals were also hunted for oil.
(6) Whole forests have been cut without regard to maintaining them. Greece was deforested in ancient times, and Scotland during the middle ages and rennaisance. Today, slash and burn agriculture is still practiced in various places.
Three examples of nonrenewable resources would be coal, oil, natural gas, gold, silver, etc.
fuel
Do you mean nonrenewable resources? Nonrenewable resources are thing like gasoline and other fossil fuels.
Natural resources that are used up more quickly than they can be replaced are nonrenewable resources. Earths supply of nonrenewable resources are limited . You use nonrenewable resources when you take home groceries in plastic bags, paint a wall, or travel by car. plastic, paints, and gasoline are made from important nonrenewable resources called petroleum, or oil, petroleum is formed mostly from the remains of microscopic marine organisms buried in the earths crust. It is nonrenewable because it takes hundreds of millions of years for it to form.
A pen is not a nonrenewable resource because it can easily be created. However a pen is made of some nonrenewable resources such as fossil fuels.
Fuel is one
Gas and coal, to name a couple.
