Cleopatra VII was the last Greek Pharaoh and the only one who learned the Egyptian language. She was supported by 2 Roman generals~ Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. When Augustus gained power over the Roman Empire, he declared war on Antony and Cleopatra and defeated them in 31 BC. Augustus arrived in Alexandria and demanded Cleopatra's surrender.
Cleopatra had 4 kids. Julius Caesar is killed by his own senate and some of his best friends. Mark Anthony commits suicide after loosing a war to Octavious. Cleopatra kills herself by purposely sticking her arm out and got bitten by an asp snake and died.
The only two significant events we know of are 1) that she gained the throne along with her brother, and 2) her brother usurped the throne and caused her to go into exile. Anything else is pure speculation because we have no facts about Cleopatra's early life.
