What are advantages and disadvantages of browser?

Well, for what a web browser does, displaying web pages, there aren't really any alternatives to compare with.

So I suppose the answer is the same as the disadvantages of using internet: It takes time you could otherwise have spent watching commercials on TV.

The advantages of a browser is that it makes researching things easier and quick. Disadvantages to a browser is that it can bring up useless information and sometimes needs refining when it comes to searching.

The main disadvantage appears to be that the whole system sppears to have 'slowed down'. It would seem to be the case that a good deal of unnecessary add-ons are applied thereby reducing the speed from 2.3mbps to 1.1mbps.
