The block, itself, for the LT-1 in 70, was nothing special, other than a 4 bolt main cap. Now, the serial numbers, and casting date will be different, and will eliminate any "numbers matching" type of thing, but, other than that, if the 76 is a four bolt main, then yeah, they are the same.
Yes it will if the 87 is a 4-wheel drive truck transmission. And that is if your 76 blazer is a 4x4 too. 2-wheel transmissions and 4-wheel transmission will not interchange with each other. The center shafts in the trans. are 2 different sizes.
NO. There is alot more to a 98 350 then just fuel injection. That year truck MUST have ALL the electronic engine sensors on it and working are the transmission will not even work. The 76 350 has NO place for the engine sensors to go. So it won't work.
