It may be related to the colors of the wires for color coordination when installing the Clarion deck.
This is on personal opinion. I've never used Clarion, so I can't say anything.
Alpine is one of the better you can buy. Clarion is the best.

Check the stereo fuses and all wiring connections for any problems. If the wiring and fuses are ok then it is an internal problem and the stereo will need to be replaced.
